1980s Murex vs modern Clarke welder
Discussion
Any thoughts appreciated- currently have a Clarke 135te welder which I have for general use- kit car frames, fixing land rover bits etc and it's been absolutely fine.
Anyway, my dad passed away and I've inherited his murex tradesmix 130 which be bought new in 1987! It's a but battered but seems to work okay - apart from the power switch but I can fix that.
My question is that i dont need two welders and for small purpose jobs am I better off keeping the newer clarke or tidying up the murex and using that?
Any thoughts appreciated
Phil
