Hi all,

We are back into the swing of camping but now with two kids so some use of iphones/ipads whilst away is useful. We don't have an electric hook up and go to sites where there isn't one, so I'm thinking about getting

https://www.amazon.co.uk/25000mAh-Portable-Capacit...

https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01FH2HYCW/ref=wl_it_d...

I know it will take a while to charge the powerbank when its empty, but it will be fully charged when we leave.

We will have a usb charger in the car, but whilst away we don't use the car that much and so it won't charge gadgets that much.

Thoughts/ideas welcome

Paul

i've looked at power banks thats come with solar panels and comments show that the panel size for the battery capacity will take days to charge it, whilst have solar panel and battery seperate means if either goes bad I can plug a new one in.

Well that's my thinking and research

I've just purchased similar in anticipation of a week away starting tomorrow, hoping the weather plays ball...

I got this one from Amazon as it seemed to be the best in terms of value vs. capacity: https://www.amazon.co.uk/d/Cell-Phone-Portable-Pow...

Plan is to fully charge before going away then top it up daily when we're out and about in the car. Also got a supposedly decent car charger (2.4A x 2) to pump some charge into it.

Got an email from the campsite with details of facilities etc. saying it's ok to charge up stuff in the laundry / washing up room and it's only a small site so will probably be happy to leave the power bank in their to charge up when we're on the site.
Thanks I was looking at a minimum of 20,000AH capacity.
