Ok,

So who else is going to be standing in the rain today to watch your Mr Williams strut his stuff then?

Must say when we saw him live @ Highclere Castle last month he was great so hoping the Mrs appreciates this just as much

All I've seen is tickets for sale - everywhere.

Including one clever fellow on eBay selling tickets for tonight, the auction ends at.....midnight tonight!

I'm going with the Mrs.

I hope he's good because the weather is going to be a bit variable, the queues awful and the support bands are...errr...not to my taste.

Still - I reckon Mr Williams himself should be a top laugh as he's quite the showman...

Likewise, I'm going today. Having listened to his interviews on radio 1 this week i'm quite optimistic. Stopping off in the Brocket Arms in Welwyn Garden City for lunch as you're not allowed to take booze or food in. Hope they don't object to brollies.

Last time I saw Robbie Williams (Old Trafford Cricket Ground) I thought he was a foul mouthed tosser, who was clearly drugged up to the eyeballs.

Baring in mind this was a family concert, with hundreds of young children there to watch their so-called idol.

He was a disgrace. F**kin this F**kin that F**kin the other. At one point he was threatening to jump off stage and kick somebody’s head in for some stupid reason or other.

I hope that you all have a better experience at Knebworth than I did at Old Trafford. As for the man himself - I think he's over-paid, over-rated and overstayed his welcome.

Mr Williams - I wouldn't p*ss on you in you were on fire my friend.

Rant over - Enjoy yourselves

good man!!! clap:

I knew there was smoething I liked about him...

:sigh: can't please all the people all the time eh?

Like Don, I'm hoping it'll be (a) Dry (b) Not too hot and (c) Williams will be good because the whole rest of the charade will be a bloody nightmare.

I'm also annoyed to find he played Highclere castle which is 20 minutes from me but I've got to trapse to poxy effing Knobworth.

Still - I shall not be defeated by the apparently draconian way that Knobworth is run, vis a vis having to buy beer tokens and not being able to take any of your own food or drink in... oh and 100,000 other people most of whom are likely to be complete spazmos.

Victory will be mine

If I may provide a local weather forcast (I can see Knebworth House from my office window).
It is currently precipitating like a bastard and doesn't look too warm.

I have the mis-fortune of living in Stevenage. Half the town is shut off this weekend. I can't even travel from Stevenage station this evening without purchasing a "special" ticket.
Bah Humbug - time to turn down the hearing aid. In my day music had real lyrics and tunes you could sing to...I don't think I'll bother going home.

James has been turning his nose up at it already. I told him he could sit and be moody with Zee and we can go off and dance at the front
