Vauxhall Astra 888

[ADR 3]

See last weeks Autocar. The Thurlby 888 Astra was the only diesel to run in the 0-100-0, may have come last but did not discrace itself, particularily when it came to the braking, even when compared to the AM.

Can also win on if you watch ITV's coverage of BTCC through to the penultimate round.

i don't know why you think the 888 smokes like thomas the tank engine, your all mistaken. i had the conversion done on a astra sri estate in 888 workshop and all i can say is its so good. the car is so much quicker. i have yet to meet a diesel on the road that can get anywhere near it

I think it was the acres of blue stuff coming out of the back on the test. The trouble with diesel drivers is that they don't see the back ends of their cars. A diesel when driven hard smokes. You can't see it but the people behind you can.
