Wapping Christmas Drinks

As I can't make the City drinks tomorrow (due to
MPH03), then Wapping drinks would be a great idea. Next week, Monday or Thursday would be ok for me... Captain Kidd is probably the best option and we could probably reserve that big table (seats about 15) next to the back door. Problem with the Prospect is the coach loads of tourists that turn up every half hour!!
Or we could all go to Jason's exclusive Birthday party on the Friday

I've just spoken to Mel, who's currently stuck on a train going up to Middlesborough which has just run into someone 
It looks like the best plan is to meet up in the Captain Kidd next Thursday (18th).
I don't know what the food is like there, or even if they serve food in the evening, however if anyone is interested, we could move onto Il Bordello later for a bit of Italian, or even the Thai place next door.
We'll try to get there earlyish to grab the big table by the door, so see you then!

Mel has already tried to book the alcove, but the guy she spoke to didn't think it would be possible. She's currently waiting for the manager to call back though, so as long as one of us gets it then we'll be OK!

There's normally parking spaces on the road between Wapping tube and the pub, or to the other side of the tube station. I've parked my Tuscan on the street there with no problems, but just make sure you don't leave anything on display...

to the manager and the alcove across from the bar which has a big table has been reserved from 6:30pm onwards tomorrow night. There are spaces available in the restaurant as well, so it would be possible for those of you who might be a bit peckish later to eat upstairs....
This looks like it's going to be a good turn out. I'm looking forward to sinking a few with you all. (Thank goodness I'm not working the following day...!!!)
