Picking up from another thread.....

If you could have airhorns to play any tune (rather like a ringtone), what would suit you / your car / your style of driving?

Or better still, what would suit other PHers?

Oh yeah, posting "Nee Nah Nee Nah" for the BiBs is not big and not clever!

I've often thought the Nokia ring tone (a la Dom Jolly) would be amusing...

You'd need a lot of horns, but the theme from the Benny Hill show would be fairly appropriate for some of the comedy driving I see. I'd personally go for Also Sprach Zarathrustra (think 2001 Space Odyssey).

I have a set of Cucharacha horns (how rude?) and they are not connected up anymore. According to my neighbour, you could get some in the early 70's which had buttons, you could play your own tune. Sounds like the sort of thing to have on a Capri. "Tequila" is great. If you do a google search, you come up with sites which sell them cheap.

In Bogey Knights military surplus (Plymouth) they have a ship horn for £80. It weighs as much as a small child and you could rig it up to a landrover roofrack. Probably about 200dB. I can imagine it *Bloke cuts you up* Woooooooooooooorrrrrrbbbbb (at about 40Hz!!!).

I'd love that for the mini - no quite sure where to put it though. What's it powered by?
