This is really wierd.......Co-incidences.....

What do you reckon to this????

I'll keep it as brief as possible so as not to bore you, but I am feeling pretty spooked out this morning....

Being a fan of the seventies band Barclay James Harvest, for the last three years I have contributed to the Yahoo discussion group, which comprises around 170 members.....

Now on this group there is a fan who lives in Brisbane, Australia, 12,000 miles away from me called Kevin.

A couple of years ago, on the list, Kevin happened to mention he was English, and moved out to Oz 13 years ago with his wife.....

I got talking to him on the net, and asked him where he was from in England.....

He said he grew up in Stalybridge, which is a small industrial town 10 miles east of Manchester....

I said, that's amazing, that's where I grew up, I could not believe it.....

Then the conversation went something like this.....

"How old are you?"

"49"

"Blimey, so am I"




"Who did you know in Stalybridge at the time?", I said

He mentioned the names of three people, who were all part of the group of my friends I used to knock around with 35 years ago......

Now bear in mind Stalybridge has a population of around 24,000....



I asked him where he lived in Stalybridge, and it turned out it was in the very next road 500 yards away...


I said what football team do you support and Kev said he was a lifelong Manchester City fan, the same as me......



Then we got on to the subject of children....

He said "I have two boys, Robert and James"..

I said "That's funny, two of my three boys are called Robert and James"......

And the amazing thing is we did not know each other when we lived so near, and had the same group of friends......



Now we come to the spooky bit.......


At the moment he is over in the UK, visiting his elderly mother, so we arranged to go out for a drink last night, so I said I would call round to his Mum's house and pick him up, as I knew where she lived...

So I pulled up and parked outside in my 6 month old Hyundai Coupe, which is a metallic Silver colour....

I knocked on the door, said hello, and he said where have you parked your car???

When I pointed it out he said, " You are not going to believe this, but when I get back to Australia next week I am going to pick up my brand new car, A Hyundai Coupe........




In Silver....................
