For those of you who live in or around the Wapping area, I was thinking it was about time we sank a few in the Captain Kidd before Christmas. Too often have I seen Diablos, Tamoras and the like rumble past down the cobbled streets thinking i should organise a get together and never getting one sorted so...

..let me know if you are interested in a tipple and what dates you are available...

...is that SIZE or LOCATION... or BOTH?!?!

Both, if I have anything to do with it!!! I rather thought that Wapping would be construed comically - especially by yourself sir!!

Oh dear, looks like I'm the only one who is rather partial to a pint of Sovereign then . Oh well, don't really mind where it is - I prefer the atmosphere in the CKidd, but if the ale ain't up to scratch then the Prospect will suit just as well.

I'm thinking that mid-week next week would be a goer. What dates can people do/not do?

Ok, just been on the to the manager and the alcove across from the bar which has a big table has been reserved from 6:30pm onwards tomorrow night. There are spaces available in the restaurant as well, so it would be possible for those of you who might be a bit peckish later to eat upstairs....

This looks like it's going to be a good turn out. I'm looking forward to sinking a few with you all. (Thank goodness I'm not working the following day...!!!)

Fantastic! I'm really looking forward to tonight. I'll be there with Ed at 6:30 sharp. Better go and have a big lunch now to soak all the booze up....

See you soon.

A big thank you to everyone who turned up last night! It was a top night and great fun to meet you all.

I'm happy to make this a bi-monthly thing, so I'll be hoping to catch up with you all at the beginning of Feb 2004 - if not a lot sooner.....

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!
