Won't go anywhere but a very interesting turn of events.
Turns out Mosley and Bernie knew about Singapore 2008 before the end of 2008.
So by the rules they should've annulled Singapore and Massa would be world champion. Instead they pretended it didn't happen until it came out via other means and it was too late to change the championship outcome.
Massa now looking at his legal options.

& what rules would they be?as the absolute worst that would have happened is that Alonso/ Renault would have been excluded from the race/ season results ...so Massa might have had a case if he'd finished 2nd in Singapore- but he didn't

Given the FIA have allowed the result of the Abu Dhabi '21 race to stand, it's difficult to see them wiping Singapore 08 off the records.

if they even go anywhere near it, there are a whole can of worms being opened here, Liberty are American they want a result on the day as all American sports people do. So this will not happen I imagine.
Odd thing to try and a little disappointed with Massa, he has a great legacy, it would not be bettered by this!

But MGT if you wanna trawl through the 2008 regs feel free. If you don't believe Bernie on that point then why pay any attention to the rest of the article.

Because there isn't a genuine case, it's all "he said, she said" and centres around a man known by millions to be as corrupt as they come. It would take an army of lawyers and some very creative interpretation of rules to get even close to annulling a race 15 years after it happened.
