Jacked-up ticket prices. Liberty are steering F1 fans into a football-esq rabbit hole
This has been happening since Bernie and happens in other sports. The circuit owners and race promoters pay massive hosting fees and can only make its money back from ticket sales; the Paddock Club, track advertising, TV revenue, and so forth goes back to F1/Liberty.The promoters can charge whatever they like as long as people are willing to pay for it. The British Grand Prix gets criticized for its pricing but it's still one of, if not the best attended Grand Prix weekend meeting on the F1 calendar.
