I was wondering when the old racism thing would get used.

Seriously? Wow, we do have a bunch or racists on here! Have you ever heard of casual racism?
rolleyes
Surely his mispronunciation is a disability not race, colour or creed

I don't mind Di Resta at all, I find him pretty good at the job, is a current racer (albeit WEC as is Davidson) and is better than Johnny Herbert (but again, enjoy his content too).

He's entitled to an opinion and doesn't have to change it because the stewards decided otherwise. And frankly calling him out over his pronunciation is bordering on racism.
I do hope that is a joke. If not it is bordering on being an idiot!

On one hand you have a buffoon with the personality of dog st on pavement that's been powered by AWS, and then you have the most droll man in the world, a guy who could suck the life out of a dead cat in the gutter, imagine winning your first race and seeing that absolute gammon slipper stood there to interview you, I wouldn't even turn the car off, I would just drive home, or as far as I could in an F1 car to not speak to him.
Just put the highlights on, and I want to turn it off already,

I don’t think Martin Brundle is being lazy, but I have notice a distinct increase in the number of races he has missed this year.

It’s getting to the point I am seriously considering signing up for the F1 TV app, but I fear Crofty does the commentary on there as well.

ETA: I just checked, yes he does… frown

I didn't find Croft (cannot call him Croft'y') too irritating yesterday in fairness, the race was so good that I probably wasn't paying him much attention though.

di Resta was painful though, "Mersheedes" and "McLAAren" started to grate on me after not too long.

I generally don't mind Di Resta as he gives decent analysis on occasion, but pairing him with Crofty yesterday for the race resulted in a lot of unfinished sentences as they tripped over each other. Even though Crofty miscues a few times in a typical race, there's normally a decent flow to the commentary.

DiResta is like a talking bollard.

Crofty is ok, ASIDE FROM THE BLOODY SHOUTING.

The combination of both yesterday was........not good. Still better than C4 though.

Not sure if anyone noticed yesterday, but croft has started to laugh and even speak over the driver/team radio.

If things weren't bad enough, at least we got a few seconds break from him when the audio played. He even speaks over the "turn audio up" lap...

Serious question, this thread was created last year but crofty/sky have been broadcasting F1 for many years now...

so has crofty changed recently thus become unbearable or was he always unbearable to you?

I’ve always been fairly unimpressed by him, but I feel like he’s got a lot worse.
