What’s the plan here then, only an eight-minute session. Go out on softs, and decide after half a lap whether to push on those or box for inters?
Edit: nope, they’re all going on inters.
I reckon put in an early, safe lap - for the sake of having something ahead of someone else likely crashing.Edit: nope, they’re all going on inters.

I'm not sure we're going to see any very ambitious laps, it doesn't seem worth the risk for sprint qualifying.

Further proof that Ferrari fired the wrong driver. I'm very confused about what happened with those deleted laps but I'm happy for Norris. Anything that keeps Hamilton off pole is good with me.
Great for Norris, sorry you have such an issue with Hamilton especially when they both and Alonso did cracking laps.Leithen said:
Chaos!
Well done Norris, Hamilton and Alonso.
Very difficult to beat a decent British F1 driver in weather like this!Well done Norris, Hamilton and Alonso.
Great to see the car advantages neutralised and the best drivers find their way to the top, I'm including Max in that - he was really pushing and he found the small areas of grip for his last lap.

Yes, just great to get a very rare reset and see a chance for more drivers to do well.Great to see the car advantages neutralised and the best drivers find their way to the top, I'm including Max in that - he was really pushing and he found the small areas of grip for his last lap.

to get things back on topic, it seems hamilton had a hissy fit about questions from the media about his move , anyone know what was said?
There has been no 'hissy fit'.ETA:
These are the comments that appear to have upset carlo on another thread:
"I don't feel like I need my decision vindicating," Hamilton said in Shanghai on Thursday ahead of this weekend's Chinese Grand Prix.
"I know what was right for me, and that hasn't changed since the moment that I made the decision.
There's not been a moment where I questioned it, and I'm not swayed by other people's comments.
Even today, there's people continuing to talk **** and it will continue on for the rest of the year," he added. "And I'll have to just do what I did the previous time.
Only you can know what's right for you and it will be an exciting time for me."
If that's what counts these days as a 'hissy fit', perhaps it's time for a few people to turn down their snowflakery.
