I realise that no one became a world champion being happy with 2nd. But I was surprised he did not congratulate Daniel, then criticises the team that delivered a one 2 and him leading every session except the final run Q3. He needs to be a better team player and take some responsibility.

For F1's sake Renault getting up to the front would be a good thing, Merc v Ferrari v RB/Honda v Renault would make one of the best seasons possibly ever.

A championship for RIC one day would be great for the sport, he certainly has it in him if he gets the right team at the right time.

Amazing positivity generally considering the absolute shocker of a season he's had to deal with.

Very happy to see Danny Ric on pole. He deserves a good end to the season after all the bad luck he has had recently.

I would also like to see Hulk on th podium tomorrow but that would require a few DNF’s from the guys in front.

The start should b interesting. Vettel must not collide, but needs to pass three cars. The start is the best place to do that, but the best place for a collision.

Vettel and Ricc into the first corner together. Then Halmilton.

Anyone's guess as to the first six at the start of lap 2.

Two RB failures seems on the cards, and with the tyre situation being as it is, anything is possible for Hulkenberg.

Bold is how I usually refer to him: never his fault, penalties are unfair, drives others off the track and then complains they got in the way.

The bottom lip is way too strong in this one. If he doesn’t change.... and currently shows no sign of it.... will never be WDC.
