FIA are investigating which floor Carlos used in the tyre test last week, & I expect a team to report the ‘ice skate’ Red bull are using to stop the porpoising and is subsequently sealing the floor..
Aren't Ferrari using the same method?cgt2 said:
In contrast to the lowbrow dimwiittedness Seb is going to be on Question Time next week which will be interesting to watch. He's probably the most articulate driver on the grid.
A multimillionare tax avoider who is paid exclusively by large corporations? Are you sure it's not just another politician named Sebastian?

I think he was making a point about drivers having to remove jewellery (which he won’t do)

It’s not his fault that Monaco/Florida/Nevada/Arab Emirates (etc) have no personal income taxes when he is ‘working’ there. UK ‘PLC’ are quite happy to take his 1/22 of his personal income when he rocks up for 3/4 days every summer.

Good chance Lewis and Max could miss this race with their ‘piercings’.
Read the link above, the FIA don't claim to care about piercings-it's the wearing on none flameproof underwear that they are concerned about. The piercings part is just because it's the same rule that governs it.It wouldn't surprise me if it's more about drivers wearing a none approved sponsor or perhaps a none "on message" political slogan on some underwear that the FIA's got wind of.

They have already had to deal with the wrong sort of political slogans on t-shirts, after Lewis wore one on the podium a couple of years back. It wouldn't surprise me if it's more about drivers wearing a none approved sponsor or perhaps a none "on message" political slogan on some underwear that the FIA's got wind of.
This does appear to genuinely be a safety issue, as the certified design includes Nomex underwear, rather than more comfortable cotton underwear preferred by the drivers. The standards changed after the Grosjean accident investigation.
