Blimey, Hadjar nearly had a huge crash into a slower car in F2. How he reacted that quick is astonishing.
Brown trousers in the tunnel for sure.
I was amazed he managed to miss both the car AND the barriers! If he'd collected the back of the car it might have finally proven whether a car can drive upside down on the top of the tunnel!

It's like something from the matrix.

WOW, why wasn't there a yellow flag out, from the video a marshal can clearly be seen watching the slow car hugging the inside

The commentary team pointed out you can see the flashing warning sign in the replay above.

With the amount of telemetry between cars and drivers (apparently because of the buildings, this can cause problem at Monaco) and the flag systems, I fear that there will be a big shunt one day through someone going too slow in the wrong place. This was a lucky escape on this occasion but there has been multiple instances in all formulas of close calls and huge differentials in speed.

I would be surprised if that hasn’t already happened, several times. I’m not enough of a scholar to give you instances, however.

Because there wasn't a stationary vehicle in the track. There was a white panel board clearly flashing to indicate a slow moving vehicle ahead.

Not all marshals have radios, and there’s Only one flag marshal per section. I’d have thought they’d have a light panel in or at the entrance to the tunnel tho.

Hadjar goes past two white light panels and a waved white flag, indicating that there is a slow vehicle on track ahead. As the car was still moving, yellows were not applicable.

There are plenty of light panels.

The problem now is the overuse of the white panel, drivers just ignore them because it's completely normal to see them on for a car not at full speed, but quick enough not to be dangerous.

This is especially the case on a street circuit.

The white panel/flag needs a rethink.

Hamilton was neck and neck with Leclerc there before that oversteer moment.
he kept it out of the wall in a way that I am not sure we would see other drives manage.
