Maybe the Stewards have got it in for our poor hard done by Hamilton. Yes, that's it. Conspire.. conspire ...
The stewards calling it a racing incident is of no consequence. What is of consequence is that Rosberg caused an incident with his own teammate on lap 2 of a race, costing Mercedes a virtually certain victory, a 1-2 finish, constructors' points and now Ricciardo is only 30 and 60 points behind the two Merc drivers.Wolff and Lauda don't need the stewards to judge on whether it was a fking stupid thing for Rosberg to do - that much is clear. And it was completely avoidable.
Interestingly Hamilton was in a similar situation at the other chicane at Spa back in 2008 with Kimi.
Back then most people seemed to think that Kimi was fully entitled to take the racing line despite Hamilton being halfway alongside.
This time a lot seem to think that Hamilton was in the wrong to take the racing line even though Nico only had a wing endplate beside the rear part of Hamilton's back tyre.
Truly, I have never known a driver be so wrong so often in the eyes of so many.

Actually that loop's quite good - you can see Rosberg steer left to avoid tyre on tyre contact then steer right to get wing on tyre as Hamilton carries on his line.
The in car footage shows him steering sharp left and then right which you could put down to correcting over steer except that there clearly isn't any over steer in the loop - he's just manoeuvring his front tyre around Hamilton's.

John, you don't need it explaining, you understand what happened perfectly. You just choose to pretend otherwise for your own entertainment.
Some people are just blinded by their pure hate of a particular driver.fatboy69 said:

To save me wading back through 74 pages please will someone remind me exactly who MGJohn despises so much as I can't remember!
Everybody that everybody else likes. If anyone is rated as good then he'll constantly tell us why they're not. The moment anyone gets good he'll say that he told us first, but if they become very good then he won't like them.Generally prefers mediocrity. Including Rovers.

Coming to the conclusion HBGT is really my greatest fan.... How else to explain all the attention. Some of the things he accuses me of are truly remarkable.
Hamilton was unlucky that his tyre was punctured. That's how I saw it and many others... not "everyone" as HBGT often erroneously states.
There again, second thoughts maybe I am completely wrong there and Rosberg really is the most surgically precise driver out there and so was able to negate Hamilton's tyre purposely in such a skillful way that those very poor judges in the Stewards' room were conned into viewing such expertly skillful driving as merely a "racing incident".
If as HBGT not very subtly accuses, I have a hatred for certain drivers, how come they have carried my money on the last race and many previous occasions? Going to again call my bluff on that one HBGT? You failed miserably to respond calling my bluff with my previous invitation. If you are so certain of that, as you are so convinced of your rightful stance where my driver preferences are concerned, I yet again again invite you to a side wager?... nothing serious, just a hundred quid or two. Go on, call my bluff.
If not, please Button it! Hey nearly an F1 pun.
Oh, please yourselves....
Right, I'm off to start a new thread with a Poll. Something titled on the lines of...
Is HBGT the most Hamilton obsessed so called F1 fan in the known Universe only matched by MGJohn's alleged hatred of certain drivers? A nation decides ...

Does this claim the title of longest running F1 thread?
What I can't get my head around is the fact that Nico has come out with the statement admitting he was trying to prove a point and he did , IN HAMILTONS TYRE WITH HIS FRONT WING, what more needs to be said .Nicos fan boy's can't get this in their heads, or as I suspect are a winding the situation up.
My concern is this, if Rosberg gets in a similar situation again will his hot head take Lewis out again. There seems to be no punishment for his cheating by either the FIA or his team.
interesting...
