Twenty twenty two takes less time to say, so saying "two thousand and twenty two" is probably padding...which is excellent, as he gets LESS time to spout MORE bks for us to endure...

Excellent sponsor material obviously!! I guess he will stay if people don't complain, the reason the BEEB got rid of Legard was endless complaints. So it's up to you viewers.

I once tried to find an email address for Sky complaints or Brundle's email address to send a link to this thread, I failed

I've never had a problem with any of the commentators, but Ted Kravitz annoyed me today.

Talking about the 4 DrS zones and said if it means there's lots of overtaking it would be like motogp, and who would want that?
Err, me please, that would be brilliant, even Di Resta gave him a WTF look

Over taking should be possible but it shouldn't ever be easy.

The general USA/D2S audience would probably disagree. 6,000 overtakes in NASCAR and a 287 to 284 final score in the League of Leaping Idiots (NBA...) would suggest the easier the better.

Also, when the US hosted the World Cup they pushed to have the goals made bigger for higher scores ffs!!

MotoGP hasn't been an overtake fest for years, it's pretty much like F1 these days.
Oh, I don’t think so. An Aprilia win in normal race conditions is a bit like an Alpine or Williams win on merit, and that’s far less likely than Aprilia repeating the win again this year.

Ricciardo pushes Hamilton down to 10th in q2 - no he didn’t he was in 10th already.

1 minute later - Bottas doesn’t make it to Q3 but his team mate does in 8th. Err they aren’t team mates anymore crofty!!

Lol I dont know if you actually watch MotoGP but nothing is further from the truth. it is more unpredictable than it has been for years, no one top talent out there and plenty of makes vying for top spot, unlike F1 sadly.

I clocked both those.

9th moves upto 8th.

I watch it every time its on, only reason i have BT Sport.

The racing is not a pass fest like it used to be, hasn't been for ages.

You get the fastest bike/rider combo at the front and pretty processional races after the first lap chaos where you have bad starts mixing the grid up a bit, but those who qualify at the front tend to be at the front at the end. This has especially been the case since they started putting proper aero on the bikes.
Qatar, Mugello, Assen, Barcelona, Silverstone springs to mind for lots of overtaking.

Last time MotoGP appeared processional was when Marc Marquez last dominated in 2019. And even when he ran off into the distance when leading he could - in my eyes - hypnotize with his aggressive riding style.
