Kimi on the gravel reminded me that I only learned this morning that Kimi went directly from Formula Renault directly to F1 eek

How the hell does he only have 1 WDC?
Mclaren unreliability mostly.

Drove for them 25% of his F1 career, what a weird take.

Painful to see Danny Ric continue to struggle in the McLaren. Seems unable to find the speed with any consistency.

I’ve always thought he was a great racer, but it can’t be doing his reputation ( with those who matter ) any good at all.

And a contractual number two at Ferrari for most of the rest of his career.

Merc and Max with the mediums, Perez with the softs.

Might be too close for the mediums here, Russell on softs only a couple of tenths slower than Bottas.

Not really, he had a couple of cars that could've walked the title at Mclaren were it not for reliability. He won 1 title with Ferrari but they were then beaten by Mclaren and Reb Bull. He wasn't going win a title in the Lotus no matter what happened and his second stint at Ferrari was spent as a predominantly number 2 to Vettel...

WTF is "potentially dangerous driving"

Either was or it wasn't.
Indeed. Sloppy. In an industry where precision is essential, and a lack of it can cost a race, such nonsensical statements are slapdash in comparison. I mean, it's not hard to be precise.

Well that was frantic!

Vettel and Ricciardo outclassed by team mates, and a best ever 11th for George Russell!

I hope Mclaren haven't got Ricardo on a multi year contract as his performance in this car is a joke compared to Lando no wonder they were shaking heads on the pit wall they even sent lando out infront of him for the slipstream

Future world champion, fans blamed redbull for sabotaging him. LOL all he does is send it up the inside late on the brakes.

Agreed. 2005 the car was very quick iirc but didn’t last.

Absolutely. Lando is obviously comfortable in the car, but Daniel is allegedly WC material and Lando is really outshining him. (Consistently too)

I feel sorry for Ricc. He's having problems cracking the car. Norris' performance is stunning, and heartwarming for someone who stuck with them through thick and thin, and thinner, and thinner still, then a bit thicker.

Russell's impressive as well. Would have been great to see him one place up.

Yes he is destroying him, completely different level of performance
