He is working and in team gear. He is no longer in the design department.

He definitely could get pole. the problem is with CLC so fast here, only a 'perfect' lap will get it done - and a perfect lap here means nearly crashing multiple times.

In fact, that's my prediction. It's going to be brutal this afternoon and I expect at least one big shunt, and by extension, one or more drivers that could do well getting knocked out due to not being able to put in an improved lap.
I like Charles Leclerc, a lot, but there’s every possibility he could be the one to put it in the wall.

Verstappen not lost his petulant brat side.
How?
He came across a group of 4 or 5 cars at the end of a fast lap (including his team mate). Got frustrated, passed them all then went through the final corner at snails pace to ensure he ruined their fast laps too.

You mean his lap was ruined so he gave it up, and regulars here know I'm not a Verstappen fan

No, his explanation is correct. He baulked the cars he considered had baulked him. A rather silly vigilante action that has the potential to generate a penalty.

He's been at none RBR events in team gear, I assume the kit is a contractual requirement.

He's not working in any F1 capacity anymore apparently, just on the RB17 hypercar. Although it is Monaco so perhaps he's also there in a PR meet and greet capacity for sponsors etc.

Indeed, very childish.

I bet there's no penalty though - we're in Monaco and the show is all important. Max v CLC is a hell of a show and nobody will want to ruin it with a penalty.

Who is going to put it in the barriers first?

Stroll? I feel like Albon could have it in him.

Perez says "What a joke!" but honestly, he's the one behind the wheel. I really think this will be his last season in a Red Bull.

Track ramping up a lot.

Haas pace seems pretty decent.

Not sure Lecler has the advantage of the previous sessions.

Could be a Mercedes pole here.

That first thing that comes to mind re: McLaren colour scheme is the 1992 Benetton.

In other news very close so far.
