I am sure that Ted utterly hates Croft and always has done, I don't blame him the guy is a cretin of the highest order who has far outstayed his welcome, he is a darts commentator at best, the drunkards and athletic ability of most players just about suits his style and shape
he will never leave unless sacked, SKY probably think he is amazing, and you have to say why should he leave, he is living the life of riley, I also happen to think Brundle loathes the man aswell.
The mutual dislike between Ted and Croft is one of the best things about F1 coverage. I’m with Ted, Croft is a complete arse.he will never leave unless sacked, SKY probably think he is amazing, and you have to say why should he leave, he is living the life of riley, I also happen to think Brundle loathes the man aswell.

But Teds notebook's have gone from reasonably interesting to rambling and incoherent. Odd.Piginapoke said:

But Teds notebook's have gone from reasonably interesting to rambling and incoherent. Odd.Someone mentioned above ‘DC lives the life of Riley’. Presumably he is well paid (not a clue how much) and I also presume all the travel and accommodations are laid on for the presentation team by the Sky support staff and it all gets posted out/emailed to them. Typical weekend would be taxi arrives at their houses on the Tuesday or Wednesday before the race and takes them to Heathrow. Business class tickets to the nearest major airport to the circuit. Transfer to the five star hotel Sky have booked for them and then off to the circuit by taxi to pick up their ‘access all areas’ media passes, meal vouchers, team hospitality passes etc. and check out the commentary box. Three days work and then Sunday night taken to the airport and whisked back to Blighty or the next race venue (Business class), rinse and repeat!
Is that a fair idea of how it all works for TV presentation people in F1?

Just watched the Porsche Super Cup on Sky. Exciting race with lots of action, crashes etc. Commentary was great. Guy got the driver names right, was enthusiastic BUT NO SHOUTING!!!!!! Crofty would have had a heart attack if he had been commentating!!
So refreshing being able to watch a race without ear plugs in!! .

What he t said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in his inane rambling, incoherent comment was he even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone watching the coverage is now dumber for having listened to it
