I am going with my eldest Daughter who is a huge Hamilton fan, we are taking the ferry from Newcastle and staying at the La Forge hotel in Malmedy.
We have seats in the stand at the end of the start/finish straight.
I am still trying to decide whether I should take the Alfa or Maserati, I am tempted to take the Maser and nip into Germany to stretch its legs a bit but I am concerned about parking it in a field at the circuit. I need to find out if the hotel offers a shuttle to the circuit or not.

With all the campsite noise etc would it better to take a 5yr old to a hotel? Mind you hes a battst-mad 5yr old. If so whats a reasonably closeby town to recommend then drive (or bus?) InTwo or three nights max? He'll sleep at some point surely?
Can't advise on a nearby town really - the town itself is pretty small - believe the teams take all the hotel space.

The villages are named after the corners and anyone with land lets it out for camping so there is plenty of quiet stuff. The green area is huge and the very loud stuff happens in all the campers and motor homes rather than the tenting areas. Two or three nights max? He'll sleep at some point surely?

I'm only camping one night arriving sat leaving Sunday so sleep isn't an issue.
