So Vettel and Massa both managed 168 laps today.... That is approaching 3 times a race distance in one day... These cars can't be THAT physical to drive can they?
Ferrari seem to be the fastest of the soft compound runners and look quite strong? McHonda seem to go from bad to worse, surely they will divorce before the 10 year contract is up?

Another strong-looking day for Ferrari.
Lewis thinks so too http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/formula1/39199829aberdeeneuan said:

Typical FIA rules, you're not allowed to burn oil in the engine, but you have to plumb your crankcase breathers into the fueling system which means you will burn oil....http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/128387

The good news is they are getting serious miles in - there can be no excuses of "not completing their testing program", etc...Ferrari seem to be the fastest of the soft compound runners and look quite strong? If they are that physical to drive then they wouldn't be pushing the cars to the maximum so they could physically complete the distances. That would make the times even less meaningless than usual.Jabbah said:

No one is trying to engineer a car that is impossible to drive in fact the opposite...

They aren't massively physical hence upstarts like Stroll driving them because his Dad paid 20 mil to Williams.
You are aware he dominated the F3 championship last year, and finished 5th at Daytona 24 hours?I am not saying he is god's gift to driving. He probably isn't.
But he I don't think he is the total fking incompetent like the chip on your shoulder insists he is.

The jury is still out on him for me.
However there is a value in simply getting the job done. Lots of drivers in history have been given that sort of advantage and not managed it.
I doubt he will set F1 alight - but I do hope he gives tommunster a reason to stop sticking the knife in with every fking post!
Especially when the payment his Dad provides is about 5% of Mercedes annual budget - hardly world beater stuff.

Same for me. Let's see how he races. It's just a personal sponsor rather than a commercial sponsor in my mind. Alonso brings tens of millions in sponsorship... they just happen to be companies. However there is a value in simply getting the job done.
