My race predictions are

1. LH
2. KR
3. SV

I hope the Red Bulls are a little closer to the Mercs and Ferraris.

I see Wehrlein has revealed the extent of his injuries - three fractured vertebrae. Makes more sense now why he couldn't race. Why didn't they just say that from the start? Would have saved a lot of disparaging comments from fans, commentators and fellow drivers.

Hoping for an interesting race. Sat at turn one this time so looking forward to drama on lap 1.

Think ferrari might do well here.

Switched on the telly for crofty to go "they've taken the floor off vandornes car"

Maybe flintstones style will be quicker than the honda? idea

Whats this they're wittering on about mercedes "helping honda out?" Sounds weird. Dont recall red bull or fez helping their rivals out during their dominance...

I think it's the Liberty Media influence - they've decided it's better to have McLaren vaguely competitive, rather than parked up beside the track every other race.

I believe the story was they let Renault in on the turbulent jet ignition thing, very nice people these Mercedes guys! How Ferrari got wind of it last season I don't know, it was round the time they announced shell had found them something, as of the first race Honda still hadn't got it on their engines although they'll be on the 3rd spec engine in a few races so may have it

Quite enjoying Pat Symonds insights into some of the technical stuff, he can be technical enough without going too overboard.

The light is a ground speed sensor:

Channel 4 F1® Retweeted Teena Gade
Thanks for the heads-up, Teena!

That light underneath the Toro Rosso is a mystery no more 👍

@karunchandhok @c4f1 it's a speed over ground sensor so measures true ground speed as wheel measurements unreliable because of tyre growth

No action. I can only assume Lewis put in a good word as it's practice because it was the most obvious block you'll see...and quite a dangerous one too.
