Most posters are rightly disgusted by what they are seeing, but it's notable how the Max fans seem to be just fine with it. To have watched that take place and not be horrified, whether you are a fan of any particular driver or not, is just inconceivable to me.
It's OK. They'll leave the sport when Max retires.

I did not read it, but there was a headline that indicated Latifi was quite touched that Hamilton and some other drivers had reached out to him after the the train wreck of Abu Dhabi.

Nice gesture!

Just why close the first thread ?
Is there some kind of rule or logic ?
Theres a thread somewhere about the rules and sub rules of this site - anyone know where it is?
Ultimately the thread director has control

Come on saaby93, you knew the rules perfectly well last year. Are you suffering from Masiitis?

After 500 pages the PH forum can do odd things.

Not convinced it still warrants a “spoilers” tag!

I don’t want to give anything away, but you’re not going to believe what happens at the end spin

I know! Who’d have thought a spaceship full of green skinned dancing girls would have landed on the pit lane and kidnapped the two title contenders and replaced them with robots!

I have just spoken to the FIA. Big Al. did nothing wrong in declaring the start of the new thread after 501 pages, as the thread can only restart on the next page AFTER his fridge light goes off.

Everyone watching has clearly misunderstood the rules on ending a thread, I'll write a report for you that will be late and will achieve nothing, then give the international sign of up yours, it's my trainset. You should all be grateful.

I lost an enormous amount of respect for Brundle and Hill.

How can these people hold their heads up after the way they denied the issue at the time?

It's all about the money. Complete lack of integrity.
I always rated Brundle as a commentator, but I think he let the sport and himself down.
Peak Brundle was some time ago now.

Vol. 2 for a race that happened last year? rofl

Surely all that matters now is whether or not Masi gets the boot. That's the last drop of drama to be extracted from that 'race'...

... Have you guys heard that a new season is about to begin? smile

I agree, it's the best we can hope for and deserve now.

'Where clarity and decisive action were required, insiders paint a picture more akin to a drunk lurching toward an unknown destination, babbling meaningless entreaties.'

Pulling no punches there then laugh

The picture it paints of the 2022 Masi makes uncomfortable reading: it also makes it feel like the organisation is hanging him out to dry, when it should have been supporting him appropriately in the first place.
