Not to my liking but again I can't see (baring accidents/ mechanical failures) anything but a RB win, it will be interesting to see if Merc did identify what was causing the drag in Spa, (as they indicated they have) and have found a way of mitigating it to get some straight line speed.

Albon did have the highest top speed at Spa... So would love to see him pull out some kind of quali masterpiece.
Monza has delivered a couple of unexpected winners in the last few years, for different reasons.

Could a Williams get a podium?

Maybe a McLaren??

Do Alpine have it in the engine and the car to trim the thing down like a bullet, and get Alonso a win???

..... all probably not!! wink

Gave the vote to Leclerc. Hopefully Ferrari will be on their A game at their home Grand Prix.

I'm hoping for some action in the midffield, as the front will be yet another borefest.

I thought this was a joke, can you even call it bad luck at this point?

This one will be Max by a country mile - by two if Ferrari find a new and interesting way to shoot themselves in the foot (and they probably will), so the only real interest will be seeing just how Ferrari manage to take it from bad to worse all by themselves this week.

The only way Max won't win this is if he has an engine failure.

Perhaps they couldn’t find the wheel gun to change them …

Or wheels to fit, if they didn't have bad luck (or bad planning) they wouldn't have any luck at all!

If Ferrari implode under the pressure of a home performance, could we see Mercedes jump them in the WCC this weekend?
If? If? When....

The pitlane scene after the race (Jim'll paint it request-style):

The Tifosi storm the pit lane, pinning down Matteo Binotto while stripping the flesh from his bones, zombie-stylee. Christian Horner looks on smugly, using what looks suspiciously like a pinky-finger as a toothpick. Helmut grins from afar. Charles and Carlos's helicopter is faintly visible in the far distance.

Max and Checo (with a knife hidden in his sock) dance on top of the podium, while Fernando Alsono flips the bird down towards Estaban Ocon from the third step.

Lewis sits at the back of the Mercedes garage head in his hands, reading "Diplomacy for Dummies", after George jumps him at the last to pinch 4th place. Again.

Latifi and Danny Ric slope-off down the pit lane in the background, arms around each other's shoulders, as Nicolas begins to randomly career off towards the nearest wall.

Tsunoda swears.

I take it Ferrari have some special livery to go with the yellow kit they're selling this weekend.

Some extra yellow and Ferrari on the rear wing.
