Why is the safety car out?
One dead car parked on the side of the track, and one fallen-off headrest!
Yet it’s ok to park five F1 cars on the live track, it’s nuts

They weren't parked, they were just resting.

Who’s up for F3? 08:30 track time for the start.

Track wet but it’s not raining. Safety car start though.

Oh, and they did decide to give out the points for yesterday’s race after all. confused

A good spectator turnout on the bank there considering the conditions!

They’re the guys with GA tickets, they have to be there by this time if they want a view for the GP later!

A half-wet half-dry track certainly males for an interesting race here. The 10 drivers who took the wet tyres have benefitted so far, so long as the track doesn’t dry too much!

Hopefully they'll be rewarded with a good day of racing. Certainly a great place to watch from.

Now a safety car and the wet runners coming in for slicks!

Thankfully Goethe okay after a big off to the left at Eau Rouge.

Another race completely ruined by the safety car

Looking like a mistake from Aron to pit out of the lead for slicks. The wets are still the tyres to be on, by about four seconds a lap!

Lap time crossover, but only three laps left and a 10s gap to close, between the six cars on wets and the rest of the field on slicks.

Some impressive driving out there. Did seem like sticking to the wets was the right option.

That was a great race!

Well done to Taylor Barnard for the win, and for the other five who stayed with the wets. Sophia in 7th the first lady driver to score points in FIA F3.

Unlucky to Paul Aron, he should have won but made the wrong call to pit under the SC.

Vesti out of the F2 feature before it even starts, after spinning out on the installation lap! He wasn’t the only one to take a spin either.

I don’t think it’s rained since the F3 race, so track is damp in places but slicks will be faster - if you stay on the black stuff and avoid the green stuff.

Yep, really enjoyed it. Couple more laps and it would have been interesting for the slick runners.

Hopefully not too many SCs in the F2.

Doohan the only man left on the contra-strategy, now seeing his medium tyres go faster than the softs.

Edit: Novolak was on the mediums too, and he’s just been the first man to stop for softs (and is going to get a penalty for understeering at the pit exit).

That's a long lap with no front wing!

I liked that he stopped and thought for a minute, wondering if there was any way he could get pulled back!

Hope that every other team is telling their drivers about the pit exit hairpin.
