Ferrari’s face masks don’t seem to fit properly, judging by the amount of times Charles and Sebastian have been adjusting them when being interviewed.
They used to fit perfectly but then the FIA queried their design and now suddenly they don't fit as well but there is no question over the legality of the previous design. TheDeuce said:

Clair Williams said in an on-camera piece on C4 yesterday before the qualifying highlights actually started that she thinks more attrition and more crashes would be good.
Well yes.. it's proved the most effective way of her cars getting within snatching distance of points! She once said she dreams of corner 1 pile ups with only her cars getting through.. I used to think that way when I was a child.
Indeed, in terms of race strategy it is a bit basic

I can only imagine what a potential sponsor would think of that. Williams doesn't have a plan to win. They a relying on the misfortune of others. Probably one of the most worrying things I have heard from Claire Williams.
Williams don't have a car to win, it's hardly controversial in her position to say what she did.Clockwork Cupcake said:

Crashes are exciting
Are they? I must be into this sport for a wrong reason then as I enjoy close battles and really hate when drivers crash.p1stonhead said:
Pole by 1.2 seconds still doesn’t compute!
In the post quali analysis, they showed the side by side fast lap of Lewis and Max.Karun explained there were two "river" puddles between turn 4-5, and turn 7-8.
All the drivers know about this and they have to decide to go off the racing line to avoid them. Karun mentioned that Max took a different line to Lewis and lost more grip, taking more risks.
This would have put Max about 0.7 secs behind Lewis.
It's still quite a gap and emphasises how impressive Lewis' lap was.

I found Karun‘s analysis interesting. Got me thinking about how much of Hamilton’s dominance isn’t about his ability to control the car, which is a given in the top drivers. Perhaps it’s more about experience, judgement, and putting in the time to understand things like tyre performance and track conditions.
