When Ron was chatting to Martin on the grid what was he referring to when he said the biggest disappointment was failing to qualify in Monaco?

Cheeky dig?

Will Merc consider NR's race against SB rather than LH?
I think the Merc priority is to win the race (either driver). Getting the 1-2 is then next priority.

They will look to see how Seb goes but the question is will they mess with Seb by pitting Nico early, or will Ferrari mess with Nico by pitting Kimi early?!

Will be interesting to see how the strategy plays out and who starts the pit sequence.

Of course this could be completely pointless if Nico takes Seb off the start! hehe

Gutted for Jenson. He must be incredibly pissed off.

Brundle is doing well today, he has interviewed a King, a Crown Prince and a Lord!

Pity Elton John wasn't there. That would have been the full set wink

How realistic are Vettels chances for a win?

The problem for NR is that he's got someone who has the beating of him in front and someone who is a superb driver immediately behind. Not easy and I would assume that he's not that relaxed. On top of that, there's the unpredictable Raikk.

That's the problem with F1: so predictable.

Hmmm where are those forum members who called manor murrisia a joke and shouldn't be in f1now???!!!! Are they saying the same about mclaren? Probably not.....clearly if mclaren can't get a car working f1 is just getting ridiculously complex

No, it was a reference to the 1983 Monaco GP where both Lauda and Watson failed to qualify.

Very.

The Ferrari's long run pace in practice was strong, and it looks after its tyres better than the Merc.

I'm looking forward to this race, because the winner isn't a foregone conclusion.

bit of a silly comparison.

Mclaren are basically starting with a completely new powertrain, it's always going to be an uphill struggle, bad as they are now, they will move forward.

murrisia have been nailed to the back of the grid from day one, this is their 4th year?

they have no chance of moving forward this year and probably not next either.

Manor had a new car/power train essentially in Australia because all their data and computers were sold

Manor has a 50 million budget, mclaren have a 300 million budget.....if anyone should be able to get a car on the track it would be mclaren

Mclaren are in the same boat as everyone else was this time last year, their season is shocking.
no argument, my point is bad as they are today, they will be better tomorrow.

same cannot be said for murrisia

Have to feel a bit sorry for Massa, he has been doing a decent job lately. Unlucky.
