The only hope now is brake or engine failure.

I'm thinking about tapping out as it's all looking very foregone.

He did as much as he needed to. But with that lead on softs it is remarkable that there hasn't been a pace car.
They're probably thinking about how they can deploy one. hehe

They left Kimi out far too long, he was ahead of Erickson before the stops.

think they'd have lost out to ROS whatever.
Indeed, only so much you can do against a quicker car. Only so early you can stop, I guess getting lucky and pitting at the same time might have held him off for a while.

That kid Verstappen's is just fking incredible to watch. If I were Kvyat I'd be very worried about keeping my seat.

I don't know where he gets it from either. Certainly not his dad, Jos, who if he tried any of Max's manoeuvres would have ended in the gravel/barrier/wall.

Hamilton now nearly a pit stop ahead of Vettel............. so much for a close race.

You know a race is boring when they start showing the slo-mo shots.

They won't call out a pace car even if the track is blocked as it would make Better vulnerable.

Exciting to watch but a bit too lairy for my liking and reminds me of Bellof.

And the thing is Max & Carlos are about equal. Carlos is more refined driving style and is as quick as Max.

Well I've determined that NBCSports coverage is st.

Commentators are ok, including Will Buxton who is quite knowledgeable.

But adverts every 10 mins, and then they actually cut to "mini features" during the race - Vettel stood on the banking, a historic race clip, etc.. annoying.

A gap of a few tenths in quali is worth a pit stop during race duration

Having watched my first GP at Brands in 1966 my love for F1 is starting to wilt very rapidly. Surely even the Schumacher years weren't this bad.

No adverts for me here in Sweden, but no English commentary. BBC and Sky are miles ahead on quality frown

Struggling to overtake the other Honda even with DRS. Still we know it's got more power than the Renault and almost on par with Ferrari according to Arai. He should've stuck to making crash helmets laugh
