Maybe I've missed something but where comes this idea of team orders to make Nico win?
Comments from the press conference which I posted a few pages ago. I hope it was just misinterpreted and there are no team orders but the words that were used and manner in which they were spoken sounded very suspect.cgt2 said:
I don't think you are seeing things logically. He is still an employee, not bigger than the whole Merc organisation and the repercussions would be huge for his position in the team.
Let's hope there are no team orders and this discussion is moot. We all know he can outrace Rosberg and that is what I hope happens today.
He's ignored team orders before, went on to win the title and got a 100m contract..Let's hope there are no team orders and this discussion is moot. We all know he can outrace Rosberg and that is what I hope happens today.

So are the officials going to spoil the race, makes you wonder after GP3. Fire extinguisher goes off, then driver gets disqualified for having an empty extinguisher, that's like getting a punture and getting a penalty for having no air in the tyre...................pathetic
Don't be stupid. Of course he can't race with an empty fire extinguisher.PurpleMoonlight said:
Can anyone explain please why one team/driver gets a 1 place grid penalty for the teams clerical error (to do with email) yet another gets just a fine for unsafely releasing a driver from the pit?
It's insane isn't it? F1 has turned into a petty jobsworth bureaucratic form-filling pencil pushing farce. They got the wrong barcode on an email. SERIOUSLY? It's pathetic. Adrian W said:

Nothing like each other. Having a puncture is a penalty in itself. Not having a fire extinguisher is like having your seatbelt come undone. It's a critical safety issue. Edited by ClockworkCupcake on Sunday 31st July 12:48
