Rich Energy drop Haas. No...Really. Seriously...
Discussion
Just suppose you don’t have a product or any money, so what better way to drum up publicity than use somebody’s logo even after they’ve won a court case against you, and keep putting up tweets that make no sense and cause endless speculation.
Personally, what this person or company does or doesn’t do is of about as much interest to me as Love Island.

This really is a train wreck, but so bad I can't wait for the next mad episode. I don't do soaps, but I love a shaggy dog Storey gone horrendously wrong.

I can only assume that "rights to distribute" is different to owning the business...
So maybe a deal has been struck that with his majority holding they have separated the business somehow
I wonder if the rights to distribute were originally granted to another board member. So maybe a deal has been struck that with his majority holding they have separated the business somehow

Now that's one case I'd like to see on a new series of The Sheriffs are Coming.
And just when you thought it couldn't get any more ridiculous:![](https://thumbsnap.com/sc/Ah5FQuab.png)

Storey reallly is the gift that keeps on giving, you couldn't make this disaster up! I'm guessing that the energy drink isn't actually available because it looks like it sends you raving mad when you consume it, if bonkers Billy is anything to go by.

It's becoming clear that Storey still has all the passwords for RE social media accounts and is so pee'd off with backers going direct to HAAS to rescue the sponsorship, he will post any crazy crap - even more so than when they were chums.
I guess he's staring down the barrel of bankruptcy for Rich Energy Ltd as Whyte will enforce the claim for legal expenses on Monday morning. But I've also read that he could be shifting buisness assets around in case they close RE Ltd and he can carry on in some other guise. Unfortunately for him, if he's made himself an enemy of the true backers, they will simply go around him as he gets made personally bankrupt and they finally take over. He could also be setting himself up for a jail sentence?
With people like ex Sainsburys boss Justin King lurking somewhere in the background along with Gold and Sullivan (allegedly) , once Whyte have extracted the final few quid out of Storey and Staxoweb, Rich Energy could become a legitimate business and even sell some product in the retail trade.
Of course, in the crazy Storey story, this may have all beeen planned as anti-advertising just to get the name around. Bizzare I know, but this madness isn't over yet I reckon.
Feeling sorry for Storey? Nah, he's a chancer who's met some very rich people and let them down. More Walter Mitty than Frank Abignale.

I'm starting to wonder whether the aim is to be as controversial as possible to try and grab headlines and make themselves a talking point and get their name out there. No such thing as bad publicity and all that.
The energy drink market is pretty saturated so launching a new brand is pretty difficult. I might be overthinking this but maybe the whole logo thing and everything that's happened over the past few days is all intentional in an effort to get their brand noticed and talked about.
Either that or its just plain money laundering!

Given Haas are no fools commercially, and that the FIA do due diligence, and the banks are heavily involved, and the wider board (Justin King, etc) are also no fools... I highly doubt any form of money laundering.Steamer said:
I'm just glad Williams had the sense / foresight not to get involved, not that Haas seem bothered.
Williams obviously had reason not to take them on and they needed the money. Haas didn't need the money but somehow RE became their main sponsor....
