It's hilarious.

I thought it was a fake until I saw it on their profile

So where does the madness end and when? I guess this week a lot of lawyers and barristers will be rubbing their hands as Storey gets hit with muliple court actions and possibly personally bankrupt soon after.

He clearly wants to go down in flames, or he really is suffering from a mental illness of some sort. Clearly this ridiculous saga has some time left to run and further dark depths to plummet. I don’t think Rich Energy as a brand is now recoverable.

They say it's a very thin line between genius and complete madness.

Brace yourself, the twitter account that just keeps on giving isn't done yet....

A closer view of that letter which apparently clarifies everything but instead actually states the complete opposite.

So the main point of RE argument appears to be around Haas removing the stag logo from its cars in Canada and probably ever since. However remember this tweet.......

You really couldn't make this stuff up (Unlike - according to the judge - the evidence presented by RE in the court case about the copied logo)

So Storey has started using the RE account to describe the problem in the third person then?

We all know it's just him, in his pants, with no mates, in some rundown hotel somewhere.

Which other deluded, media-we lunatic do we know who likes to use the third person.........hmmmmm....?

If you're going to go bankrupt, you might as well go for £35 million as £35k.

Storey is going down in a blaze of firey cack and possibly spending time at one of Her Majesties long term holiday establishments if he keeps avoiding the bleedin' obvious..

I don't know if it's been stated already, but I believe the boss of Whyte Bikes used to be a F1 suspension engineer?

Surely this is getting ridiculous, shouldn't the FIA step in, as it is bringing down the whole brand.

As far as I know the FIA hasn't any authority to step in. It has to distance itself from commercial matters in order to maintain impartiality.

Partly true. The FIA assist in some due diligence for title sponsors, IIIRC.

Yes it was mentioned some pages back in this thread maybe through a link about the history of Whyte bikes and its ex F1 suspension designing owner

In a nutshell, Rich Energy now has 11 days to find £35M to pay Haas! Slightly disconcerting, considering they have failed to pay ATB Sales/Whyte Bikes the £35,000 owed to them due to copyright infringement.

The tweet also reads as though no one at RE (Storey?) actually understood the content of the letter. Essentially, they’re being sued!

Don't know what they'd fail to understand about the part where they'd proceed for damages

Ooof. 90 million cans of a new energy soft drink somewhere that no-one seems to be able to find vs 1 gigantic,party-sized can of legal whupass, being sprayed liberally in the direction of Mr Storey.

  • Apparently empty cans with a logo they won't be able to use soon.

I'm now convinced that Storey is actually James Stunt in a comedy beard. Absolutely the same level of whatthefkery.
