Whatever line of work you lot are currently in, I advise you to chuck it and immediately apply for positions as broadcast executives, since clearly you have deep knowledge of the talents required of on-air talent.

Today’s “highlight” was him renaming braking points as braking events. To me a braking event is when they don’t work.
A small blessing - At least he hasn't adopted the phrase 'Straight-a-way'.... yet. It's like nails on a blackboard when Danica says it.
Re Danica, she does grate a little, like Rosberg, but they both come up with some wonderfully awkward/off kilter questions on live interviews!
But it's the whole part of braking, not just the start of the event (which is the 'braking point'). The terms are not interchangeable.

So anytime you receive poor service from any organisation you pay good money for, you just shrug your shoulders, pay up and say "well I am not a chef, dentist, mechanic etc so hey ho" and go on your way.You are clearly far more tolerent of poor service than "us lot"

As most here have followed Formula One racing for a very long time unlike you , they do know exactly what it takes to be a good commentator and Croft hasn’t got it.RobB_ said:
There are some (youngsters presumably) who really like his commentary. I made a remark on YouTube once suggesting he could perhaps dial down the screaming, and I received a whole bunch of very upset remarks in return, suggesting I should 'watch golf'. Very strange.

As opposed to Brits
Nice day today - Pouring with rain
Alright - No answer required
How's things? - Living the dream
Well thanks to the Stats God I now know that a zebra can out sprint a bull!! What planet does that guy live on?
Plus the "achilles wheel" pun went down well on the pit wall!!
I watched the F2 sprint race and, despite lots of overtakes and close racing, NO SHOUTING. what a welcome change from shouty. Give the commentator the gig!!
