I couldn't care less who wins, but I really can't imagine what Hamilton's strategy team were thinking. They might have believed he'd come out in second but he was never going to be in front of Rosberg and given that they ran about half of the race on high fuel load on the softer tyre, the tyres clearly aren't going to fall off the sort of cliff which is required to pass.

Utterly baffled.

I just can't understand the reasoning behind pulling him in. It's not like they've never raced at Monaco before, they know track position is king there. Look at Vettel a few years ago on knackered tyres, yet nobody could get past.

Agreed. It's been the worst race on the calandar since the advent of wings. I don't care what history the track has, it's a complete waste of space as a racing track.
