Henceforth, Vettal's song:
Chicago- hard to say I'm sorry...

biggrin

I think the punishment was light, and a suspended race ban would have the way to go, do anything again in the next 5 races and you out of the next event.

Rosberg did a good job

On occasion. But Doink is right. Hamilton is more than capable of roughing up others and has done, with impunity, more than once.

Unlike Rosberg, Hamilton had the finesse to make it look like an accident.

well, it is certainly going to make the rest of the season all the more interesting, because the gloves are off.
Watch out Seb, we got a badass over here!

I thought it was a brave decision by the Tour de France stewards yesterday.

Personally I think the initial points deduction was enough as I don't think it was intentional and Sagan isn't that sort of rider, but this does send out a very clear message to the rest of the riders, unlike the FIA who's message to Vettel and Ferrari will be:

'Now please don't do this again, otherwise we will really, probably, have to at least consider doing something, maybe, definitely have a meeting and will almost certainly tell you off if you don't say sorry quicker this time'
Agreed.

Cycling is a much tougher sport. Aside from the physical challenges, they have proper crashes, the riders get injured, but when needed to the organisers man up too and get tough. It all makes F1 look like handbags at dawn, imo.

Shame to see Sagan go out but that elbow just didn't look right, however even he didn't suffer the total melt down that Seb did.

Finesse being the keyword and the Lewis haters just hate the fact he has finesse

Rosberg got under Hamilton's skin. Lewis coped with it fairly well, but there's no doubt Rosberg's ability to compete with him really riled him. Some of Lewis's comments last year (the one about Nico's upbringing especially comes to mind) suggested that Hamilton wasn't serenely in control.

Then there were the comments about the mechanics swap in the close-season.

Borderline tidy but I'll give you that, it just didn't look natural enough and it drew many a conversation from the pundits, Lewis would of nailed it I feel

I think it's more about on track than what happened in the media, Lewis is a bit insecure maybe even a bit paranoid, Nico realised that and exploited it and the war of words and one upsmanship started

It'll be interesting to see how the removal of the oil burning tank from the Ferrari plays out, it looks to of handed the advantage back to Mercedes who haven't been using the system since redbull bought it up, haven't seen the Merc smoke when leaving the pits in quite a while but they seemed to develop in a different direction, can Ferrari?

yes, Ross Brawn said he admired Vettel's passion. Its obvious he really wants it. I'm glad he's up for a fight all the way. Just hope the cars remain more or less equal.

I class reliability as part of the car's overall performance. It's no good having a rocket that craps out regularly.
