Amazing job by Gasly.

Very impressive.

Verstappen dropped for Gasly??

biggrin

Red Bull have a driver to replace Ricciardo when he leaves.

Vestappen confirmed as needing a new gearbox and will be starting from the back of the grid.
Ricciardo will be happy. He should be safe.

Imagine the poor drivers ahead of Verstappen if he does start at the back.

Will need to update their life insurance.
Drama queen.

Don't forget, 19 year old Verstappen beat 28 year old Ricc last season.

Still Vers. somehow is making too many mistakes this season. Crashing in the last minutes of P3 is unforgivable.

Well done to Gasly and Sainz.

Vandoorne not looking irreplacabe .

Bit Premature, but Red Bull are looking a repeat of 2016:

Strolls radio message about his headrest tells you more than you will ever need to know about him, his father and that team right now.

Pathetic, embarassing and typically of a spoilt little wazark
Basicly an excuse lined up and aired publicly.
I listened to all the practice sessions and ‘Stroll complaining’ was a running joke through every session.

Sirotkin has worked his arse off and got his head around F1 and this year’s Williams and is now leaving Stroll in his dust, and Stroll is becoming an increasingly mardy arse because he doesn’t seem to be equipped to do the same, despite all of the in-season testing and track time for the past year and a half.

ETA: Sergey sounds actually great on the radio, succinct, concise feedback.

Stroll simply embarrassing
It's F1, never been about the 20 best drivers in the world.

Ham's dominance these past 4 years is equally embarrassing.

Daddy is paying in Strolls case. Merc. giving Ham the best car.

Ham acts as if he's god given. Stroll acts to be an F1 worthy driver.

Incredible from Danny, really hanging it out in those last few corners.

Split screen of Verstappen's 2016 and 2018 crashes https://twitter.com/darcyf1/status/100033451820352...

He did hit a slightly different bit of the barrier this time, other than that its pretty much identical.

Ricciardo was a class act today. Amazing. Verstappen should be shot.

Vettel did a great job. Hamilton also got the max out of the Mercedes

Alonso did a great job as did Gastly.

Just think about the back of the grid. Verstappen, Grosjean and Magnussen. Better get the safety car ready.

Hopefully the race is a belter.

Alonso is looking like he's worth the money. If he leaves then I'm not sure what they can do short of offering Danny Ric the same salary. Not sure even that would be enough though!

Ricciardo looks like he just came away from the bar.

Notice Red Bull hardly said anything when Ricciardo got pole.

If Ricciardo is at Red bull in 2019 I will eat my hat.

Webber just said Verstappen has hit something or spun every weekend this year. Off the top of my head that is probably true.
