So......20 streamliners then? How boring......and slow.
Plus, every category in racing uses aerodynamics to some degree. This is the pinnacle of racing. You might's aswell tell them to use engines powered by steam.
All those calling for a return to NA V10s are more or less doing that. For better or for worse.Plus, every category in racing uses aerodynamics to some degree. This is the pinnacle of racing. You might's aswell tell them to use engines powered by steam.

not F1 news but see Scuderia Ferrari are entering 2023 Le Mans.
Just seen they're going to be running a Hypercar, that's great news - The old LMP1 category was dying on it arse for years, hopefully Ferrari's entry and the F1 budget cap opens the door for other F1 teams. Having manufacturers like McLaren, Red Bull, Ferrari, Peugeot, Toyota and Alpine would be a great boost for WEC.Although, slightly embarrassing for Ferrari if they're beaten by Peugeot and Toyota

Aston Martin are retaining BWT as a sponsor, so seems they aren't title sponsoring another outfit then.
Green and pink cars, then. That won't look awful at all.![](https://thumbsnap.com/sc/2QsvjNGL.jpg)
However, they probably won’t get it right. In which case it will look bloody awful.

Ferrari hobbled by fuel restrictions...

If true, does that mean a return to form next year?

If true, Salo is in trouble and can kiss his steward job goodbye.https://www.planetf1.com/news/ferrari-punished-che...

The whole affair is unacceptable from a governing body that should be open about cheats.

Is it not a misunderstanding of what Salo meant? Doesn't 'use less fuel' relate to the fuel flow, as in use less fuel at any one time because the fuel flow rate is no longer being cheated? The whole affair is unacceptable from a governing body that should be open about cheats.

- restricted back to normal levels or
- restricted beyond normal levels to peg them back
Who knows, interesting snippet all the same. If it's the latter it could mean a rapid ferrari resurgence

BWT will not have anything that big, they're not title sponsor, that's Cognizant (so their IT will be permanently broken)
And delivered in comprehensive global delivery model (definitely not not 90% offshore from India with the people that couldn't be hire hired by Accenture, etc )Swampy1982 said:

Really? It just reads to me that the old engine has been designed to work with the cheat and the cheat is no longer in play, hence it's not running at full power (for that engine). The new engine isn't designed to run with the cheat, so can make full power.
You can read it however you like, but if the quote is accurate he is saying they cheated. The FIA has not said they cheated.RonaldMcDonaldAteMyCat said:

Yes, and is it not a translation from Finnish too, to add to the ambiguity. The change actually made last year was the addition of a second fuel flow sensor, to which only the FIA has access. That remains for this season, and the Scuderia have had the past 12 months to develop their engine accordingly.
