Didn't Kimi say he's agreed to see the season out ?
Yes, but that article seems quite specific and sourced... Who knows...

If the Lotus team want to secure their position in the constructors they need an experienced driver for these last 2 races.

What's that Michael Schumi blocking doing these days am sure he would be delighted to beat the Mercedes boys after getting booted out in Favour of Hamilton.

Schumacher to Lotus!

Unlikely given Lotus' financial position. I could see Kovaleinen being up for it though

Heikki is a good shout. Are Lotus and Caterham getting on now after the green paint black paint fight?

Rather odd that Hulkenberg has turned down this weekends opportunity to drive the Lotus, even having gone so far as to visit Enstone this week? I wonder what's behind that.

Dumping his current team for Lotus for 2 races without an assured contract for 2014, at a wild guess, potentially leaving him team-less. Better to race the non-too shabby Sauber for 2 races and keep options open.

With Perez being booted, I wonder if Hulkenberg will find himself at McLaren for next year and Magnusson at Sauber to give him a year's experience?

I also wonder if with Lotus and Ferrari vying for constructor positions, then Ferrari may have rung Sauber and said "errr, you know how you like our engines? Well, if you want to keep them, then do not let Hulkenberg go and drive for Lotus for the last 2 rounds..."

I believe the story that Ferrari want to keep him out of that Lotus. Whether for immediate or longer term reasons...

He will end up being a Heidfeld if the dice don't fall his way.

It was reported earlier in the year that Hulk was a free agent (as Sauber hadn't been paying him) so I can't see Ferrari having any sway here.

I read that Hulk had a contract with Ferrari, dithered over the question of money and then got gazumped by Kimi.
If this is true and given the absence of progress now, is the Hulks manager on the ball here?

Who manages Nico? Is he a bit rubbish?

Apparently Ferrari paid Hulk to NOT drive for Lotus for the rest of the year!
