Kimi out for the last 2 races, getting back surgery.

If the Lotus team want to secure their position in the constructors they need an experienced driver for these last 2 races.
What's that Michael Schumi blocking doing these days am sure he would be delighted to beat the Mercedes boys after getting booted out in Favour of Hamilton.
Schumacher to Lotus!

Unlikely given Lotus' financial position. I could see Kovaleinen being up for it thoughWhat's that Michael Schumi blocking doing these days am sure he would be delighted to beat the Mercedes boys after getting booted out in Favour of Hamilton.

Rather odd that Hulkenberg has turned down this weekends opportunity to drive the Lotus, even having gone so far as to visit Enstone this week? I wonder what's behind that.
Dumping his current team for Lotus for 2 races without an assured contract for 2014, at a wild guess, potentially leaving him team-less. Better to race the non-too shabby Sauber for 2 races and keep options open.Vaud said:

valsecchi should be in that car.
And again! With Perez being booted, I wonder if Hulkenberg will find himself at McLaren for next year and Magnusson at Sauber to give him a year's experience?
I also wonder if with Lotus and Ferrari vying for constructor positions, then Ferrari may have rung Sauber and said "errr, you know how you like our engines? Well, if you want to keep them, then do not let Hulkenberg go and drive for Lotus for the last 2 rounds..."
