I couldn't decide who was more irritating, him or Perry. She really is an annoying trout.

That's a bit harsh on trout
I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks Suzi Perry is not good. She is in her second season now and she's still very wooden and comes across as lacking knowledge. I think Lee McKenzie would be much better - she did a great job I thought filling in for Jake Humphrey when he was doing the Olympics coverage, and is very good when she presents the live free practice sessions.

Eddie Jordan's "mystic Irishman" pieces really grate. Didn't they used to have Sean Bean doing a bot of voiceover stuff for their commentary? He would be a much better bet.

I also thought that this season the BBC's end of coverage montages, and their end of season montage, were below previous standards, both in terms of content and music.

Hi All,

BBC got back to me today. The details of the music is as follows:

"Journey to the Line" by Hans Zimmer and Johnny Mori. It was also used in the film "The Thin Red Line".

Not surprised that Hans Zimmer was involved in producing such epic music.

I'm not familiar with Zimmer's music, but with a view to watching Rush once I finish reading the Tom Rubython book on James Hunt, I see he's done music for the Rush soundtrack.

Seriously, you probably don't go to the cinema much, Google him, he's responsible for more well known sound tracks than you can possibly imagine

Watched this last night, very good documentary and insights into the thoughts of the drivers/team managers. Nice build up to the start of this season.

Also as i look through the thread, some of the music used through and including the Hungary Race is Steve Jablonksi (Transformer: Age of Extinction Score)
