Give martin brundle the drive - see if he's any good still
He never was unfortunately
Rubbish. Brundle was a very good driver. You don't push Senna in F3 and win loads of sports car titles if you're no good. His first F1 season in the Tyrell was also excellent. He just never fulfilled his F1 potential as he didn't have as much focus as he perhaps should've done - he enjoyed the F1 life too much.

One of the best well rounded individuals in motor sport & the motor sport business. A successor to Bernie?

I doubt it as he has morals and cares about the sport and its fans.

Brundle was an excellent but unlucky driver, with an unfortunate talent for being in the right team at the wrong time.

He drove for Benetton in '92, and came close to matching Schumacher, but it was the German who got the win.

He drove for McLaren in 94, but they struggled that year with useless Peugeot engines. Plus ca change...

Iirc, he out scored Schumacher in the second half of the season. He was also in line for the Williams drive that Damon Hill got, indeed I tHink that he "had the drive" at one point but FW changed his mind. Wonder what happened to Damon in that team.....oh yes, world champion.

Yes, Brundle was an unlucky driver!
