Slowest thread of a GP? and this is ours.
Lack of interest all round.A Mercedes will win. Some other stuff will happen and the commentators will keep talking about the tyres and fuel saving (maybe). Both McHondas will break down at various points and score no points. I will watch watch it on catch up and hope for some rain to spice things up.
Praying the weather is hot Sunday to give the Ferraris a chance to keep the Mercs in sight!

And changes are afoot, less coaching on the radio, extra token for new manufacturers (retrospective for Honda, bit late though) etc etc

All sounds good, apart from the possible change of race format. I think race length is fine as it is, and qualifying still works well IMO.https://twitter.com/CroftyF1/status/61666114610017...
The British GP occasionally throws up weird results and a bit of controversy, not to mention motorsport politics, but this doesn't change the fact that it is one of the more boring circuits to spectate at and because of the lap speed it is over quickly. Then there is all the Brithype to live through.
How they manage to charge such heavy ticket prices is one of life's mysteries.
OK I may be exaggerating a little because some people clearly love F1 at "The Home of British Motorsport", but with the current state of F1 you couldn't drag me through the gate under any circumstances. I will probably record it at home just in case anything interesting happens.

Well im up ready to go down there today, only have tickets for the friday this year and excited. Didnt get to go last year so not heard the new engines apart from on tv will be interesting to see the differences.
As for cost i do t think its too expensive, yes it highly priced but considering £300 will get you good seats for three days its far better value than going to most concerts which are at £75 for three hours entertainment tops.

I've always said silverstone will charge what they can get away with, maybe they hit the ceiling this year as they had to reduce tickets by 44% last month. As for cost i do t think its too expensive, yes it highly priced but considering £300 will get you good seats for three days its far better value than going to most concerts which are at £75 for three hours entertainment tops.
This is the first year in ages that we haven't gone partly down to cost but also its just got boring and isn't entertainment.
