Is there any more F1 stuff after this ? ................if not......stream cancelled
I was wondering the same. It was nice to see the F1 cars but it was a bit tame. They said all 10 teams were there but only 8 cars went out?carl_w said:

They said all 10 teams were there but only 8 cars went out?Sky were talking about the event last weekend so its not been kept secret however the new owners do appear to lack the basic skill of organisation and quality PR, take the post quali on track interviews, they are such a farce, every time I get the impression that the drivers aren't expecting them and have no prior knowledge as to where on the track / pit lane it will be done.

Lewis scored an own goal today by not turning up "for sure"!! He should have cancelled whatever he had on as I think being there would have lifted his motivation
Don't worry, He'll spend the weekend saying how much he's loves his British Fans, Racing at Silverstone and how proud he is be British.Hopefully Toto gives him twice as much PR work to do for the rest of the season to show him who's boss.
I assumed a lot of them had turned up but I didn't realize he would be the only person on the current grid who didn't. Rene Arnoux even made the effort.
TBH they need to relax the in-season testing rules. Would any of the teams have really got any relevant tyre data from running up and down Whitehall twice in a current season car?
Edit: looks like the event is devoid of F1 content from now onwards.

I'll cut him some slack tbhFamily commitment. He must need to see his Mum occasionally
Dinner with the board of Mercedes.
Driving around a fairly cack set up in Whitehall isn't doing anything interesting. I actually turned it off when the drivers were walking to the stage after the runs.
Well that was awesome; was in touching distance of the barriers on the run up and down Whitehall; the sound of those V12s, 10s and 8s was awesome. Well done to VB and DR for giving it some beans and smoke on the course. Really great atmosphere; good to see DC, Martin and Jake back together.

I enjoyed the head view cam on VB while giving it some.Gassing Station | Formula 1 | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
