Thanks I was looking at that on my phone last night while browsing ph waiting on something and the figures just didn't look "right". Hamilton might have gone quicker with a second run - I'm sure he keeps a few tenths in his pocket here and there so rosberg can't easily copy+paste - but it's academic now.

Hamilton so restrained there - Herbert said he was a grump to his face, then instantly repeated the comment.

Hamilton handled it well to be fair, the question did not need to be asked, it's obvious why he isn't 100% happy with the way his season is going.

BUT he either is very good at playing the fool or is a buffoon that people don't mind chatting to - and even yesterday he said something like "I just go around the pit lane embarrassing myself".....

Edit: Plus, calling him a "cretin of the highest order" doesn't leave words to describe the tit larking around on camera behind the presenters. Brundle's face said it all.

Hamilton was fuelled for two runs, so had to run four laps to burn off the excess fuel, but by that point the tyres were not at their best. I think he would have pushed Ricciardo hard on an optimum quali strategy.

It is tabloid TV made for the lowest common denominator.

Herbert really does come across as incapable of having a logical exchange with a driver, all he does is rely upon Essex cliches and verbal shoulder shrugging. A very strange choice to conduct interviews.

People of any intelligence find it very hard to watch.
