And he’s correct. What do you think Jim?
I'm going to be honest I am not going to offer praise for saying something so transparently obvious outside of the pages of the News, Politics and Economics forum.

However I am not sure it wholly tallies with him (and I am sorry 37chevy, LDN and other super fans there is no other way of putting this) picking on a child for wearing a dress on social media and saying that him doing feminine stuff was 'embarrassing him'.

I am sure you'll be back to tell me I'm wrong and it was just a joke, or somehow doesn't matter - but that's just how I see it.

I’m a super fan of Hamilton’s driving... and so I’ve no problem agreeing with you there; that was a big fk up.

I also agree with most of what Hamilton has said in that article.

Links? I’ve not seen anything about these. Perhaps Max is more like his dad than I originally thought.

Just Google it, I did as I wasn't aware of anything and it came up.

don't forget anyone with money is going to be a target at some point from ne'er-do-wells. It could be completely untrue; or she's changed the parameters of what / how it occurred.

Indeed, or it could be true... and Ferrari ‘backing their driver’ might cost them dearly. They should let him go ASAP; he’s only being kept on as Vettel’s rear gunner.

HAHAHA me? Super fan? Hardly. I just point out that people don’t apply the same trial by social media to other drivers as they do to Lewis....and when I point this out, they go quiet. I wouldn’t mind them slagging Lewis off so much (let’s face it he’s done some dumb things) if they applied the same critique to other driver...but they don’t....people Always seem to see the bad stuff Lewis does, and not the good.

I’d be fascinated to see what people’s perception of Schumacher, Prost, Senna would have been like if social media was around in those days and mistruths/ splashy tabloids/ fan Bois and haterz were trolling the internet....

I actually didn't know Kimi had been accused of sexual misconduct. Will need to go and read about it before commenting.

Max Verstappen as a driver is very watchable but with a father like that is there any surprise.

What Max said was shocking even if it was a joke which I doubt it was.

I think if he tried that he would come off worse unless like his father it's a two on one situation.

Touching the girls breast in 2016 but she only comes forward now? Yes this is very common when it's rape or sexual abuse as the victims can be left traumatised but why would she not report it straight away?

Hopefully things are investigated but it could more likely be a blackmail attempt.

Just imagine his hero James Hunt. He would be in jail for life.

To be honest the press were onto Senna and Schumacher. The British press especially but things have been taken up a massive level by social media and instant news.

Hamilton is a news rooms wet dream. He can make some huge errors of judgement which obviously gets the news feeds buzzing.

Most other drivers are not as popular so you just don't hear what goes on. Vettel I don't think is even on social media.

Perhaps the Kimi situation is not been proven hence why many sites are not mentioning it but as you say if it was Hamilton it would have blown up.

Apparently; she did talk about the incident back in 2016 and so it’s not new news in fact; it’s just that Kimi wasn’t mentioned. Perhaps because of the ‘me too’ campaign; she feels emboldened to reveal who it is finally.

Let’s face it; Kimi pissed as a fart with his mates; it wouldn’t surprise me one bit; so it’s hard to weigh it up. But Ferrari saying that they will back him, no matter the cost, seems bizarre to me. Surely Kimi’s time is up and so Ferrari need not bother.

As you say it is risky for Ferrari to back someone as the sh** could hit the fan.

If that waitress mentioned it at the time then perhaps the incident would have been caught on CCTV footage from the bar/restaurant

As you say Kimi enjoys a drink or two so it could well have happened.

Or she was flirting with him to get a reaction and he fell for it hook line and sinker.

Unfortunately it is pretty common for these things to be false which makes it so much harder for a genuine victim to get a fair hearing.

Strange thing for her legal team to state

But Jamie Benizri, founder of Legal Logik, the firm representing the accuser, told Autosport: ‘It is not a question of cashing out and running to the bank. It is a question of trying to understand what happened in 2016.’

My guess is that, they intended on a relatively swift and lower key solution but Kimi has countered with an accusation of extortion. This has taken them aback and they are at sea.

The thing is; if it was all about money, she could have come straight out, two years ago, and taken him to the cleaners. And so, it’s murky waters. Made worse by the fact that; we will never know the extent of any incident. Did she brush up on him, was she actually willing throughout... or was she genuinely groped; by a pissed up piss head of a man... which we all know Kimi to be. Hopefully more actual evidence will come out so that the truth dictates the outcome.

That would be a rather strange ménage à trois yikes

Times are hard, this is why he needs the music career.

I’m expecting to see him playing the Red Lion next Thursday.
