Such as? Not trying to be awkward but you can't really base anything on what is a chosen selection of a larger data set, especially given the nature of their publication, the lack of wider context and their potential origins.

What you can see is that the two adults partook in some level of wkery. You can see that CH has the skills of a mid level, live with mother accountant, possibly with the penis of a Jack Russell. But you can't really see much beyond that because of the nature of the data.
Without more it's textbook sexual harassment. It's also really crap on a human level. It's the kind of stuff that made the legislation necessary in the first place.
I'm surprised DA cant see it. Even with all the caveats it's clearly textbook, a lot of the content is even used as a direct example on the Acas page that covers the issue.

I hope someone at RB GmbH has the balls to back Horner and calls JV's bluff if he thinks they can go and drive somewhere else.

An interesting thought; it's so textbook, it could almost be manufactured.

Jos can jog on who is going to take that violent wife beater intervening in this situation, If I was Horner I'd be getting a PR hatchet job done on him it's hilarious that he thinks anyone wants to hear what he has to say.

Threatening to pull Max out, well do it then every driver will have their hand up to become the next WDC,

It's a point of course, and on first reading I thought the same. What changed my mind was Horner giving a carefully worded reply that did not deny they were for real. Clearly textbook for they probably are.

Exactly

The concept of Jos becoming a TP is a creation of this thread alone.
No one is suggesting that Verstappen Snr is angling to be TP. It’s about holding the power to determine who is.

Red Bull can’t be stupid enough to accede here. Call his bluff and if he does move his son away in 2025, put Alonso or Sainz in the car. Both would win the WC.

Agree. Jos definitely overplaying his hand I think.

Lando, George, Lewis, Charles, Carlos, Fernando would all be walking away from the field in Max’s car.

Is Jos overplaying his hand? Not sure it's his hand. I think he's just the messenger for the Austrians.

So what is the end goal for JV?
Why now?
What has changed?

Nicked straight from twitter.

New leaks reveal the identity of the independent KC who conducted the investigation into Christian Horner.

The interesting thing here is we appear to have a standoff between the 49% and the 51% shareholders of a company with virtually unlimited wealth.
It's like Dallas on steroids.
All we now need is a shower scene..............err, scrub that thought. hurl

What I am missing is the “why” in all of this…

What does Jos want? Why?
What is the end goal in this process?

Can’t see him as a TP so why the destabilisation of the team?

Did Horner want a % of the team as equity?

The answer I think is money + some personal enmity.

Lewis has just signed with Ferrari for something around $100m PA
Max is tied into a long term contract (2028?) with RB for something around half that amount.

If Max has break clauses in his contract based around certain individuals being at the team (Horner or Newey perhaps) then they could be triggered leaving him free to negotiate with either Red Bull or Mercedes for much more money.

So quite simply money for Max and the power to decide who RBR revolves around.

I’m pretty certain this is it….

Perhaps they preferred the Porsche involvement as opposed to now ?

If max remains as far in front as in Bahrain for most of season it’s easy for him to walk away. He’s a racer and there’s certainly not going to be a lot of racing this year. So he might welcome a new challenge in another team for double the money

They don't show anything either way. And the situation was found against the PA's claim. The messages are only a selection so part of a picture which means they can't be sole grounds for a view and there would need to be more, which there may well be but as it stands at the moment it clearly isn't cut and dry in either direction. We don't even know if the PA selected those screenshots or a third party. It would be somewhat naive to attempt to draw a clear decision on such overtly partial and potentially wholly bias snippets.
None of us know the lawyer's brief. None of us know the precise allegations. None of us know the evidence taken into account.
Indeed. Ergo, none in a position to state a clear legal belief.
I think one of the posters on here who is a lawyer and dealt with similar cases hinted it looks like a problem from what we have seen so far, rather than your interpretation they are not so important either way.

I don’t think so. The could put any reasonable driver in that seat and still win. I think this is more about Thai links and the FIA support being given. Horner is too much of a risk if he’s a free agent I expect.

yes.
Dietrich M apparently had a veto vote over the racing team so his was the final word but this was not passed to his son hence the technical shift in power to the 51% owner Yoovidhya, who supports Horner and word has it CH started manoeuvres to oust Marko etc who brought Max into F1 so has the Verstappens loyalty blah blah

so if this is the crux of it all, CH did start this trying to get more power and the woman is just being used by the men - no surprise there then - as a means to an end.

A true racer wouldn't give up a dominant position for money, not when they're already loaded for life. He could just as easily ask the team for a faster teammate to challenge him if he's that bothered about a challenge.
