A bit ageist …. Suspect those offended or disturbed or laughing or whatever are of all ages. I like that he has an out there style and I am 50+.

Instead let's moan about his dress sense. FFS.

learn to let it go if someone laughs at Hamilton turning up in a dress, or whatever. His style is 'out there'. Some admire it, others don't. Both opinions are fine. It doesn't really matter.
I find a lot of his outfits funny too, but it's clear there is a pretty deeply unpleasant undercurrent from some which goes well beyond being upset by what he wears. I get that the problem is with themselves rather than him, obviously, but it's still rather a negative thing to see.paulguitar said:

NO-ONE IS UPSET BY WHAT HE WEARS. HIs outfits are sometimes funny looking. People laugh. You and some others cannot bear this and seek to attribute some sinister motive. Let it go.

We'll have to agree to disagree I think. It's okay, people were offended by Jackie Stewart's long hair, sideburns, and flares. Nothing is ever new. You could look daft if you seek to defend Hamilton on every issue against every internet poster.

It can only be from a place of racism. No other explanation at all.
Not sure I agree with you there. Whilst that's very clearly still a sadly significant problem, it's not the only explantion. You and others always try and allude that any criticism of Lewis is due to some sinister undertones without actually stating what they may be.

Not everyone who criticises Hamilton is racist, of course, and equally clearly some are, that’s plain to see.

A quick scan through NP&E makes it very clear there are racists still amongst us.

yeah, and not everyone who supports Hamilton is an obsessive nutter, but there are some, and that's VERY plain to see Not everyone who criticises Hamilton is racist, of course, and equally clearly some are, that’s plain to see.
As the amount of energy a person spends obsessively thinking and writing an individual they don’t know increases, the level of oddness does too. But personally, I think its inherently odder to put all of that energy into negative thinking and writing based on dislike or criticism than it is to put it into positive efforts based on admiration, respect, and wanting to sort through the individual’s rubbish bins to get hold of discarded personal artefacts, half chewed food, or small pieces of hair or toenail clippings.
