There are still some clowns out there who think this was a conspiracy! Still, there are also lots of people who think we have not been to the moon, so nothing is a surprise I suppose.

Glock made up a place by not pitting for wets, with better tv coverage and electrical information now, we would have a count down of when the overtake would happen.

But the team radio for Toyota has never been published....

And as for the moon... well no human has ever been there that’s for sure.
I am presuming this is a wind-up?

It’s true the team radio has never been published, only recently has the onboard of Glocks last lap been released in full, the fia spent an additional two days going through the telematics and telemetry of both toyotas and found no wrong doing, although plenty of fingers were pointed at the time.

he probably saw freddie flint off on "The One Show" say that he didn't believe the apollo programme/moon landings had happened or were real.

thankfully their science correspondent put him right, then said "it's like me saying I don't believe England won the ashes". He was made to look like the total fool he quite clearly is.

Oh, I don't know. I used to believe we landed on the Moon up until about 4 years ago when I spoke to a couple of physicists. There are way too many inconsistencies in the evidence to 100% say we landed on the Moon, as using the technology we had, we could have also faked it, too. I would strongly recommend the documentary called the Moon landing hoax by Richard Hall - on the documentary, two engineers delve into the science behind the fake claims. Quite eye-opening. What's even more hilarious is NASA's official statement as to why we haven't been back to the moon since the Apollo missions; apparently, they lost the technology. They had it back in the '60's and '70's, but they've now lost it and are incapable of recreating it. Really.

Put it this way, the people that believe we landed on the Moon are the same people that don't believe Bigfoot existed. It's practically exactly the same thing, except you had more people in on the Moon landing.

I always like Brian Cox's point when he said that you just need to look through a telescope and you can see the flag...

Yes, about 400,000 are 'in on it'.

Get a grip, seriously.

That one is for the unpopular opinion thread I guess.

More like the worryingly popular opinion thread.

And I’m not sure it’s even an opinion. It’s like saying you have an opinion on if the sun rose this morning.

We can't see a flag, but there is plenty of other photographic evidence of landing sites.

It's a distraction though, the evidence of our having been to the moon is so overwhelming that it to require photo proof is childish.

Well, what do you think of NASA's claim that they've lost the technology to go back to the Moon?

Also, do you think it would have been impossible for Stanley Kubrick to produce footage of that quality from a Hollywood studio?

This is the world we live in the internet age. It's a fascinating time, there is so much good that can come out of it, but sadly the village idiot now has an influence on the weak minded in a way never before available.

This is the wrong thread for this, but I am not doing it anyway. I also don't debate people about the world being flat, or 6,000 years old.

Have a serious word with yourself.

Is there a consensus among the moon walk disbelievers on whether all the other manned missions after ‘69 actually happened or were these also staged?

I can sympathise with the view in the context of the space race / Cold War and Kennedy’s ridiculously ambitious ‘man on the moon this decade’ promise... but has man not walked on the moon half a dosen times subsequently?

Surely the Russians would have known? And perhaps they’ve been there and sprayed some of the magic killing chemical on the remaining lunar craft.

I’ve just reasised while posting this that the only people who’ve landed on the Moon are Americans.
