I'm happy for qualified input and I'm relatively neutral on Max/LH. But I found J Stewarts reported take on Abu Dhabi bizarre. (only saw these on Planet F1 today). seems like many who should know better are politically compromised and that's before the (unqualified) fanboys chip in.
Motorsports was ever thus. it was never a clean sport.
You didn't agree that someone of authority doesn't take the usual 'been rigged' opinion. He should know better? You mean he should have the same opinion as you?
I’m just not seeing reasoned defence in front of reasoned accusations. There is a prima facie case to answer.
Don’t agree…..with all the logical reasons presented over last few pages.
JYS has never been much of a Hamilton fan, so it's not surprising he doesn't see that anything unusual happened.

That was my take, JYS has always had a massive chip on his shoulder when it comes to Hamilton, so no surprise with his view.

It clouds peoples' thought processes and reasoning on here too. Can see it coming from miles off. And MB winning.

Surprised JYS took so long before having yet another bitter dig at LH , another has been living in the past .

JYS was a bit of a hero of mine and has slowly been descending in my estimation for years now. It's really disappointing.

I've always thought he's been prone to saying the right thing in the wrong way.
He now seems to have a flair for insulting people without even realising.
PS anyone else have to look up "denoument'?

After the bash crash wallop events of the last few F1 races this season which only resulted in a few seconds fine here and there I am wondering what that ticktum fella did a few years back that was so wrong to result in a 2 year ban?

Ticktum overtook 10 competitors under safety car conditions to catch and crash into MSA Formula championship rival Ricky Collard in race three at the Silverstone round.

In his report court chairman Guy Spollon described how Ticktum, after a first-lap collision with Collard had dropped him to the back of the field, passed 13 yellow flags, four double-yellow flags, two white flags and 15 safety-car boards to catch back up to his rival during the safety-car period.

Also given his drive for better safety in his driving years, why has he not criticised Verstappen's driving and the questionable way he's been able to get away with it!

So under Masi that would have been a five place grid penalty at the next event? Or a five second time penalty?

Agreed, Stewart came from an age where if you didn`t drive clean you were most likely dead, this lot now would have to learn fast or wouldn`t last the season.

Never mind JYS's era, just four years ago Max would've caused Lewis serious injury if Monza had happened then.

Depending which way the sun was shining, could've been just a reprimand.

Or possibly "Just one of those" in a "Motor race"

You have to smile at the image of Lewis sitting in his hot tub in Colorado (or wherever he really is) reading this stuff day-in, day-out and having a really good belly-laugh at the sheer stupidity of the speculative crap that is written about him in the media.

When it comes to celebrities in general, i tend to only believe what I have heard, or seen the person actually say. And then be amazed how the same clip / soundbite gets repeatedly distorted and exaggerated by some journalist who hardly ever leaves his sticky bedroom, relying entirely on regurgitated social media, or other “news” outlets.
How do you think the Bible was written ? wink

So approx 5 seconds per overtake and 10 for the crash .Only a minute of penalty in masi/todt F1 circus clown world. Where they got the 2 years for ticktum is anyones guess.
Tilktum must feel aggrieved now about losing 2 years of his career.
