Let us not forget who put who in hospital (and got a penalty for it before we all start arguing over blame again)
I can't remember a driver putting another one in hospital. I just remember a crash which was avoidable if the driver on the outside of the corner will have open his steering instead of turning into the one who was under steering. Race director explained very well the next day that the reason Max didn't get a penalty for that crash was because he penalised himself by crashing so it was only fair to penalised Hamilton as well as both were responsible.
Just because Verstappen ended up out of the race, it should not have absolved him of punishment.
It’s like not getting sent off in football because you hurt yourself as well.

At least he didn’t end up with a car on his head did he?
If that was the other way around Horner (and no doubt you) would have had a coronary.
That was the only moment of the whole season, where Horner looked a little sheepish in front of the media. If that was the other way around Horner (and no doubt you) would have had a coronary.
Just imagine if the events of Abu Dhabi had played out as they did - but with the first two cars swapped, Max in front for the whole race except the last half lap.

Brake check - they don't understand it is normally a DSQ.
Run off into the Favelas - they don't understand he shouldn't force Lewis six car widths off track.
Copse - they don't understand Max could have been more circumspect and avoided a potential understeering Lewis.
Etc
Monza - Ah!! Damn..They might "get" this is not quite within the rules...
- *the average (new/drive to survive) fan seems to want to be spoon fed with BS...

Max also was also killed 56 times, whilst Hamilton dined on lobster and champagne, laughing hysterically, whilst wearing a cape.
And don’t forget max and red bull celebrating while Mazepin had to be driven away from the circuit (maybe be a chauffeur, possibly in an ambulance, could have been a hearse, who knows) with the deadly COVID. Max also was also killed 56 times, whilst Hamilton dined on lobster and champagne, laughing hysterically, whilst wearing a cape.
No tweets from Mazepin moaning about the celebrations though. Because Mazepin has more class.
Its good marketing but nonetheless, when bookmakers go this far you know the FIA has some questions to answer....

I’m not in to betting but I’ve certainly never heard of it.

Great marketing and I like the thrust of their logic.
At first I wasn’t sure what he’d do, and I would not have been surprised in the slightest if he walked away.
Mercedes then posted this to their Twitter account a few days ago, and I thought it could be a hint he is staying or it could just be a coincidence:
Now they have just posted this:
He is staying.

Nothing more or less. Don't read too much into it.

Marketing yes but so many people have heard of that controversial decision (I am talking of non F1 fans) and surely many in that marketing team must have thought that yes it is a great marketing opportunity but a great way to support who is the real champion to the eye of the general public. Great way to take a dig at the FIA.
Real champion ?Who do you consider the real champion in 1989. Prost or Senna ?
