Turns up for an awards show looking like some sort of rapper, than disses the place he lived for years.
I have lived there too and it is one of the friendliest, honest and actually very well equipped for those without money towns around.
It has its bad points, obviously its a crumbling 60's new town.
But there are some things about it that are superb, lots of green areas, fabulous walkways with no paths, the industry is totally separate from the housing, meaning traffic works fine.
This creepy little man needs to show a little more respect, for a lot of things.

He obviously says it a lot, probably to impress foreign hangers-on, you don't just say such a thing by mistake, especially at such a big event. "I grew up in a slum and now live in Monaco" sounds a bit better than "I grew up in Stevenage which was OK but we didn't have any money.
